FUJIFILM Corporation, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of FUJIFILM Holdings Corporation. The company was founded in 1934 as a producer of photographic film under the name Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.
Driven by original research and development, FUJIFILM presently brings continuous innovation and leading-edge products to a broad spectrum of industries, including electronic imaging, photofinishing equipment, medical systems, life sciences, graphic arts, flat panel display materials, and office products, based on a vast portfolio of digital, optical, fine chemical and thin film coating technologies.

FUJIFILM in Europe
FUJIFILM first penetrated into overseas markets primarily through its Imaging Solutions business. The company established a German subsidiary in charge of the comprehensive management of its European operations in 1966 and a manufacturing company in the Netherlands which was tasked with manufacturing color paper and color films in 1982.
Today, FUJIFILM Europe GmbH (Dusseldorf, Germany) acts as Strategic Headquarters for the region and supports its group companies in Europe by formulating marketing and corporate strategies. In addition, FUJIFILM Europe B.V. (Tilburg, The Netherlands) covers the logistics, finance and procurement control functions for the entire European market.
Nowadays FUJIFILM entities operate in over 50 group companies in Europe and employ more than 5,000 people engaged in R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service support.
FUJIFILM in Russia
FUJIFILM started its operations in Russia in 1992. In January 2010 the Company became a part of FF European cluster, and is in the process of implementing a number of significant organizational and business transformations. The main purpose of FFRU is development of sales of FUJIFILM products, such as Photo Imaging, Electronic Imaging, Medical Systems, Industrial Products, Optical Devices, Graphic Systems, and some others. FFRU is aimed at rendering the high quality of goods sold, as well as establishing mutually advantageous partnership with its customers.
FFRU has offices in Saint-Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, and Rostov-on-Don. The Company employs more than 100 employees, and is rapidly developing at the Russian market.
